About The RV Info Guide

Hey, I’m Rob — and this is my wife, Jennifer.
I’ve spent most of my life on the road — driving a semi since the late 80s, hauling freight all over the country, and watching RVs roll past me every day. Over the years, we’ve raised five amazing kids together (all grown now), and as the house got quieter, we found ourselves dreaming more and more about the freedom of the RV lifestyle.
We’ve been married 24 years, and now that our kids are out building their own lives, Jennifer and I are ready to start our next chapter together. We’ve owned several RVs over the years — from small pop-up’s, class C motorhomes to various travel trailers — towing them into tight campsites, figuring things out the hard way, and learning what works (and what definitely doesn’t) in the real world.
The RV Info Guide is my way of taking those decades of real-world driving and RV experience and turning it into something that helps new RV owners feel confident, safe, and excited about this lifestyle. My goal is simple: build a business that lets me finally step out of the truck and enjoy the RV lifestyle with Jennifer by my side.
Why We Started The RV Info Guide
We started The RV Info Guide because we’ve always enjoyed the RV lifestyle whenever we’ve had time to get away — weekend trips, long drives, tight campsites, upgrades, breakdowns, and plenty of “figured it out the hard way” moments along the way. After raising five amazing kids and spending more than 24 years building a life together, Jennifer and I reached a point where we wanted more than just working and waiting for retirement. We wanted to spend more of our free time actually enjoying the road.
Over the years, we’ve owned several different RVs, and every one of them taught us something useful. Even today, we’re still learning — researching what’s new, trying different setups, and refining what makes RV travel easier, safer, and more enjoyable. The more we traveled, the more we realized that RV owners at every stage — from first-timers to experienced travelers — often face the same questions, challenges, and decision points.
That’s why we built this site: to share what we’ve learned so far, along with what we continue to learn, in a way that’s practical, honest, and easy to understand. Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been RVing for years, our goal is to offer real-world experience, clear guidance, and useful tips that help you enjoy the RV lifestyle more often throughout the year.
Our mission is simple:
To help people feel prepared, confident, and excited about RVing — while building a community where Jennifer and I can connect with, learn from, and meet great people who share the RV lifestyle.
How We Approach RV Advice
We believe the best RV advice comes from a mix of real-world experience and careful research. Whenever we share recommendations, guides, or product suggestions, they’re based on what we’ve personally used, what we’ve tested, and what we’ve taken the time to research and understand.
RVing is always changing — new equipment, new technology, and new ways of traveling — so we don’t pretend to have everything figured out. Instead, we focus on learning continuously, staying practical, and sharing information in a way that’s clear and useful. Our goal isn’t to tell people what to buy or how to travel, but to help them make informed decisions that fit their own style of RVing.
What You’ll Find on The RV Info Guide
